Cinnamon Crunch Granola

No matter how organized  I seem on the blog, it seems like most weekdays the kids and I scrambling to get out the door in the morning. Whether the boys are packing last-minute lunches or cramming granola bars into their pockets, it’s safe to say that breakfast at our house isn’t always the most nutritious or filling.

I started to look for nutritious, portable breakfast foods that provide a quick and healthy morning pick-me-up. This granola tastes just like one of the boys’ favorite cereals – minus the additives, artificial coloring, flavors and preservatives. It’s a crunchy, satisfying, toasted masterpiece that will stay fresh as long as you keep it in an airtight container. As always, I suggest using organic, non-GMO ingredients when possible.

So much more than just a breakfast food, this is a great topper for yogurt and baked apples. Take a few handfuls of this in a reusable bag with you for a quick workout snack, or pour it in a bowl for an after-school healthy snack.
